The Guardian RSTP is a lightweight, multi-hit rifle special threat plate designed for use in conjunction with Level IIIA/HG2 soft armor.

Engineered with a high-performance ceramic strike face and a UHMWPE backing, this plate offers reliable protection against a wide range of rifle threats—including 7.62mm FMJ (M80), 7.62x39mm mild steel core, 5.56x45mm M855 (Green Tip), and M193 rounds.

Independently tested to the rigorous NIJ 0101.06 standard (MODIFIED SAPI), the RSTP provides enhanced ballistic performance while maintaining a low profile and minimal weight.

With a slim 0.55" (14mm) profile and available in multiple sizes and cuts—including full, shooters, swimmers, and SAPI—the RSTP can be tailored for optimal fit and mission requirements.

The plate is covered with durable 1000D CORDURA® nylon for additional protection and longevity.
