Standard Warranty 

As used herein, AMIR TAYYEBI Inc. DBA: OmniPROTEX®, and Protective Products. 

  1. Warranty - Jacket (refer to as outer Carrier)

1.1. The outer carrier and other non-ballistic components are warranted to be free from material and manufacturing defects for (60) days from the date of issue to the individual user, as verified by the purchase receipt.

1.2. During the warranty period, any garment having a manufacturing or material defect, as determined through inspection by an authorized OmniPROTEX® representative, will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. 

1.3. The outer carrier warranty shall be void if the product has been altered, abused, or misused, stored improperly, or not cleaned in accordance with cleaning instructions. 

  1. Warranty - Soft Ballistic Component

2.1. The soft bullet-resistant body armor panels are warranted to perform to the (NIJ Standard-0101.06) threat level IIIA listed on each label for a period of five (5) years from the date of issue to the individual user, as verified by the warranty card. 

2.2. The bullet-resistant elements of this system have been tested and certified by the National Institute of Justice and passed the compliance requirements of the (NIJ Standard-0101.06) for Ballistic Resistance of Personal Body Armor. 

2.3. The soft ballistic panels are warranted to be of the same construction as the original NIJ-certified model listed on the label. However, the design of the body armor panel might be different.

2.4. This warranty is subject to, and expressly conditioned upon, strict compliance with the following conditions:

  • The panel must not be torn, damaged, or altered in any way
  • The panel must not be subjected to abuse or misuse during service
  • The panel must be properly placed into the outer carrier
  • The panel must not be permitted to be excessively wet
  • The panel must not be subjected to excessive heat
  • The panel must be properly stored (i.e., not in excessively hot or damp conditions)

2.5. During the warranty period, any soft ballistic component having a manufacturing or material defect, as determined through inspection by an authorized OmniPROTEX® representative, will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. 

2.6. During the warranty period, if the soft body armor panel cover is compromised (cut, torn, or frayed); it should not be worn and immediately be returned to the manufacturer for inspection and repair. If the damage is the result of normal wear and tear, the damage will be repaired free of charge. If the damage is the result of improper care, storage, or abuse, determined solely by OmniPROTEX®, then OmniPROTEX® will advise the owner of a recommended repair or replacement costs. 

2.7. The soft ballistic armor panels will only reduce the possibility of serious physical injury to the wearer in the areas covered by the soft body armor panels. 

2.8. There should be no expectation of bullet resistance in areas not covered by the soft body armor panels. The soft body armor panel is not warranted to be bulletproof.
