The AR1000 is engineered from Ultra High Hardness Armor steel (UHH) and is NIJ 0101.06 compliant and can be found on the NIJ’s CPL (Compliant Product List). The AR1000 is covered in a polyurea ballistic fragment anti-spall and blast coating Rhino Extreme™ 11-50.

The Guardian AR1000 is engineered to provide advanced multi-hit protection against some of the most common and demanding rifle threats faced in the field. Rated to defeat 7.62x51mm M80, 5.56x45mm M855 (Green Tip), 7.62x39mm MSC, and other special threats, the AR1000 is rigorously tested and certified to NIJ 0101.06 Level III+ standards.

Guardian AR1000 plate is compliant with DEA hard armor protocols and independently validated for Rifle Special Threats (RST).

Constructed from ultra-high-hardness (UHH) steel and finished with a Rhino Extreme™ 11-50 anti-spall polyurea coating, the AR1000 offers reliable performance in a durable, thin profile, measuring just 0.35 inches (9 mm) in thickness.

Multiple cut options—including full, shooters, swimmers, and SAPI—ensure the right fit for any operational requirement, with sizes ranging from 5"x7" to XL SAPI.
